Where AI gets its answers

Before an engine names a company, it reads the web. These are the sites each engine cited most in its 60 answers for Australia, by the share of answers citing them.

One thing stands out. Gemini cites company sites directly: clappia.com tops its list, so a company’s own pages decide whether it is named.

What to do with your row

Most recommendedTop 3 on an engine

Open your full report, then take the “Top 3 in AI answers” badge. It names the engine, it links back here, and it is free. Then keep the spot: Findrix tracks all three engines for your company and tells you when a rival moves in.

MentionedNamed, not recommended

Findrix shows you, answer by answer, who took the recommendation instead of you and which sites got them there. Your site becomes a numbered list of edits, and the next scan confirms each one.

Not namedMissing from all 180 answers

Findrix runs your buyers’ questions for your company and shows what AI says instead of you, with every wrong fact and the correction written for you.

What “Top 3 in AI answers” means

Top 3 in AI answers · Findrix AI Rankings · ChatGPT · Low-code and no-code application development platforms in Australia · October 2026Top 3 in AI answersFindrixLow-code and no-code application development… in AustraliaFindrix AI Rankings · ChatGPT · Oct 2026

A company gets the badge when it is in the top 3 on any single engine, by how many of that engine’s answers recommend it, not just name it. The badge names the engine, so a company can hold it on Gemini and not on ChatGPT. In Australia that is Microsoft Power Apps, Mendix and AppSheet on ChatGPT. Microsoft Power Apps, Glide and OutSystems on Gemini. Microsoft Power Apps, Glide and OutSystems on Google AI Mode. 9 badges, 5 companies. A badge holder confirms its website inside the report and puts the badge on its site, and it links back to this page.

The 60 questions we asked

Every company was measured against the same 60 questions, asked the way a buyer types them, with no company name in the question. Grouped by how the question is asked: four kinds.

Use case (the job is named)

6 questions
  • Any no-code app builder that would let a department head in Australia turn a messy shared sheet into an automated tracker?
  • Which low-code and no-code application development platforms can host our apps in Australia to meet data residency rules for a government agency?
  • We're a council and need a no-code development platform that keeps data onshore and ticks the compliance boxes, so what do Australian local governments use?

+ 3 more questions in this group.

Alternatives (excluding the well-known)

the question asks for options outside the market leaders13 questions
  • Which low-code and no-code application development platforms would let our ops team in Australia build internal approval flows in days instead of months?
  • Other than the household-name no-code platforms, what app builder suits an Australian farm business tracking stock and paddocks?
  • What smaller business app builders do Australian disability service providers use for case notes, aside from the market leaders?

+ 10 more questions in this group.

Criterion (price, reviews, support, integration)

a plain category question with one qualifier9 questions
  • Is there a no-code platform with a free plan that a cash-strapped small business in Australia could actually run on?
  • What's the cheapest low-code platform for a five-person business in Australia that can't spend much on software?
  • What low-code platform could an innovation team at a big Australian bank use to get working pilot apps in front of customers cheaply?

+ 6 more questions in this group.

Other phrasing

32 questions
  • What no-code tool can we use to put together an internal request portal this month, for a mid-sized business in Australia?
  • Our faculty office at an Australian university manages student placements in spreadsheets, so what business app builder could replace them with a proper system?
  • I'm running a one-person business in Australia and can't code, so which no-code app builder can get my first app live?

+ 29 more questions in this group.

How we measure

Each of the 60 questions was asked once to ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Mode in October 2026: 180 answers. We read every answer and record which companies it names. A company’s share is the part of answers that name it. Different spellings of one company are merged into one row.

Left out: companies outside Australia, and names that aren’t low-code and no-code application development platforms. A name AI gave without a website we could find is listed without a profile.

One run per question means a single answer moves a company at the bottom of the table by a point. Treat differences of 1 to 2% as noise and the top 20 as stable.

Questions about this ranking

Why isn’t my company listed?

Either no engine named it in the 180 answers we read, or it was named and we could not match it to a website. Search the list above. If it was named, its full report is ready and you can add the website from there. If it was never named, Findrix shows what AI says when buyers ask about low-code and no-code application development platforms, which rivals it names instead, and a ranked list of fixes: the page, the edit, and the next scan ticks it off. It starts with the 7-day trial.

What is in the full report?

Everything we collected about the company: its position on each of ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Mode, recommended or only mentioned, its average position in the answer and what AI says about it word for word. It opens after a quick login, free, for anyone. The “Top 3 in AI answers” badge goes on the company’s site when any engine puts it in its top 3.

Why would I subscribe if I am already listed?

This page is one snapshot. Findrix is where you control and grow your AI visibility over time: your own question set, 60 to 180 questions by plan, tracked for you and your rivals. On every answer you see recommended, only mentioned, or a rival, and which sites earned that rival the spot. Wrong facts come with the correction email written for you. Your site becomes a numbered plan: which page, what to change, confirmed by the next scan. A PDF report for you and your team. It starts with the 7-day trial.

Can I correct or remove my company’s listing?

Use Request a correction at the bottom of the page: we check the change against the answers and fix the listing. Sign in with an email on the company’s domain to open its full report. For anything else, write to us there too and we will look at it against your website.
