Frequently asked questions

What does Findrix Radar measure?

Which brands AI engines name when buyers ask for a recommendation. For every market we put the questions real buyers ask to each AI engine, read every answer, and rank brands by mention rate — engine by engine.

What is a “market” in Findrix Radar?

One product or service category in one country — makeup and cosmetics in the United States, for example. Each market has its own buyer questions, its own brands and its own ranking; the same category in another country is a separate market.

How is the leading brand in each market determined?

The leader is the brand with the highest mention rate in that market on the engine you picked — each engine has its own leader. Every rate carries a 95 % range: when the ranges of the top brands overlap, treat them as tied rather than first and second.

What does “mention rate” mean?

The share of buyer questions where an engine names the brand. Each question is asked to each engine several times, and the rate counts how often the brand came up across those answers.

Can I compare mention rates across different markets?

Only with care. Every market has its own question set and its own number of brands competing for the answer, so a modest rate in a crowded market can be a stronger position than a high rate in a market of a few brands. Compare brands within a market; across markets, compare places, not rates.

Which AI engines are included in Radar?

The engines listed at the top of this page. Each engine is measured and ranked on its own — Radar never blends them into one score.

Why can rankings differ between AI engines?

Each engine is trained on different data, reads different live sources and weighs them its own way. A brand one engine names often can be rare in another that leans harder on the sites it cites. The gap shows where a brand is visible and where it is missing.

Where do the buyer questions come from?

From the way people actually shop a category: recommendation, comparison and problem-first questions, a fixed set for each market. The set is fixed for a measurement, so every brand in a market is judged on the same questions.

How often is Radar data updated?

Every market is a dated measurement — the date on the page is when its answers were collected. We re-measure markets and add new ones over time; a new market appears here as soon as its first measurement is published.

How can I find my brand in Radar?

Type your full brand name into the search at the top of this page — it is an exact match across every brand named in our measurements. Not there yet? Start a free trial and we will measure your brand in your own market.
